Finally, the new Directives for Medical Devices and In Vitro Diagnostic Products (IVD) were published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
Its entry into force will be 20 days after its publication (date of entry into force May 25, 2017) and its application date according to the transitional period of 3 years, which is indicated in article 123, will be on 25 May 2020.
