Objective: restitution of normal joint function, development of customized acetabular reinforcement, restitution of anatomical axis, rotation center and anteversion.
Development:
- virtual surgical planning,
- 3d impression of anatomical biomodel,
- engineering and development of tailor-made acetabular reinforcement with trabecular structure,
- validation of design by means of workshop with specific bone structure of the patient printed 3d and prototypes of the prosthesis with interdisciplinary group of engineers, designers and doctors.
